Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween! It's one of my favorite holidays and as a treat for my co-workers I made some Boo Bags filled with candy.
These were super easy to make and turned out so cute! I found these great little black bags at Hobby Lobby for $.99 and I had a coupon for a 25% discount so I got a fabulous deal. I made the little pumpkin from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge and the purple border from the Storybook cartridge. The combination of papers came together surprisingly well and I loved how it meshed in the end.
Here's a close up so that hopefully you can see the glitter aspects to the piece.
On to thinking about Thanksgiving! Until next time!

My First Posting!
Greetings fellow crafters! I'm so excited to start my first blog and I'm looking forward to sharing some of the crafts I do as a hobby. I'm into a little bit of everything: baking, scrapbooking, card making, etc. I learned everything about crafting from my amazing mother. She continues to share with me creative ideas and recently got me hooked on what we call "Cricutizing!"
I wasn't sure what to pick for my first post so I thought I'd share some cookies and a cute little tag I recently created for my co-worker's son's birthday party.
I used my fabulous Cricut Expression for the tag using the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge for the little skateboard and the Storybook cartridge for the scalloped oval.
I was really happy with the way they turned out and couldn't believe I was able to get the icing almost the same color as the paper I used in the tag. That was an unexpected surprise that really completed the whole look. I hope you enjoy this cute little idea and I'm looking forward to sharing more soon!
